01What you are buying

Initiation (22 USDC, one time) brings the Quantum Scanner online for your Commander ID. Scan packs (5 USDC for 50 scans) let you scan asteroids in the Aetheris Asteroid Field, one asteroid per scan.

Initiation and scans are in-game services. Scan credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and cannot be redeemed for money.

02Exact odds

The field holds exactly 50,000 asteroids and 10,000 Core Fragments, placed at random before the field opened. Across the whole field, 1 asteroid in 5 (20%) holds a fragment. Any single scan may find nothing, and a pack of 50 scans may find fewer or more than 10 fragments.

Fragments by rarity: Core 1, Mythic 100, Legendary 400, Epic 1,000, Rare 1,500, Uncommon 3,000, Common 3,999. Fragment placement never changes after the field opens, and is not influenced by how much you spend.

03Live remaining counts

The scanner shows how many asteroids remain unscanned and how many fragments have been found. Every scan result (dead rock, or a fragment and its rarity) is public on the field map.

04Discoveries and claims

A fragment you find is reserved for you for 15 minutes (first refusal). You may claim it, or broadcast its coordinates so any Commander can claim it. You see the rarity before you pay, and the claim fee is the same whoever claims it: Mythic 60 USDC, Legendary 25 USDC, Epic 10 USDC, Rare 5 USDC, Uncommon 2 USDC, Common 1 USDC. Claimed fragments go to your in-game inventory.

The single Core Fragment is never claimed for a fee. When it is found it goes to auction under the rules below, and its discoverer receives an in-game reward only: the Core Discoverer title and badge.

Core Fragments socket into Aetheris plots and boost production in the web-based industrial game only (from +0.25% for Common to +2% for Mythic, capped at +5% per plot). They give no advantage in Sanctaris, do not count toward prize-league scoring, are not an investment and give no right to revenue, profit or payment.

05Core Fragment auction

Every Core auction uses the same format. It opens 24 hours after the Core is found and is announced on the site and in Discord. It is an open ascending (English) auction lasting 72 hours, with a starting bid of 500 USDC and each bid at least 5% above the current highest bid.

Soft close: a bid placed in the last 10 minutes extends the auction by 10 minutes, so it ends only when bidding stops.

Bidders must be signed-in Commanders aged 18 or over with a linked wallet, and not in a restricted jurisdiction. Bids are binding commitments. The winner must pay in USDC on Arbitrum within 24 hours of the close; payment is verified on-chain before the Core is delivered. If the winner does not pay, the Core is offered to the next-highest bidder on the same terms, and the non-paying Commander is barred from future auctions.

06Payments and refunds

Payments are made in USDC on Arbitrum from a wallet linked to your Commander ID, and are confirmed on-chain before anything is delivered. On-chain payments are final. If a payment is confirmed but the item cannot be delivered (for example, another Commander claimed the fragment first), contact support through a ticket in our Discord (discord.gg/SCUs7MZwqk) or at allianceforge22@gmail.com for a refund.

07Availability

Scanning is not available where paid chance-based features are restricted. This includes any country or region under comprehensive UK, EU, UN or US sanctions (currently Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine), and any further jurisdictions we publish following legal review. You must be 18 or over.
