THE NEXUS // DIGITAL ASSET COMMAND INTERFACE // PRE-LAUNCH

Nexus DACI

The Nexus Digital Asset Command Interface is where landowners and active Commanders govern Aetheris together, in two houses. Voting opens after the Genesis Sale.

01 // TWO HOUSES

Every plot counts. No single wallet rules.

Aetheris owners govern the planet through the Nexus DACI. Voting power grows with land held, but at a diminishing rate. Active Commanders hold an equal second chamber, so the people who play the game share control with the people who own the land.

AETHERIS PLOT OWNERS

VOTING WEIGHT
Votes = √(eligible plots) per wallet. Tier does not multiply votes.
WHO QUALIFIES
A plot counts only once it has been held for 30 days, to stop last-minute vote buying.
DELEGATION
The owner votes by default and can hand a plot's vote to its Plant Manager, the player it is assigned to for the season.

02 // THE SQUARE-ROOT RULE

Each plot adds less than the last

Land House votes are the square root of a wallet's eligible plots. One plot is one vote, nine plots are three, a hundred are ten. Every plot still counts, but each one adds less than the one before, so more land buys less extra say.

Against 1,000 solo owners, this wallet would hold 9.1% of the vote if every plot were one vote. Under the Nexus model it holds 1.0%.

03 // PATH OF A PROPOSAL

From the table to the tally

Every proposal follows the same path. What changes is how much support it needs: a routine proposal is settled in the Land House, a major change needs both Houses.

PASSES WITH A MAJORITY IN BOTH HOUSES

  1. 01

    01 // TABLED

A proposal is tabled for a vote. Each Tether plot owner can table one Land House proposal a season about its station's lanes.

  2. 02

    02 // SNAPSHOT

Voting power is fixed at the block a proposal opens. Buying or borrowing plots mid-vote adds nothing. Only plots held for 30 days count.

  3. 03

    03 // VOTE

    LAND HOUSE

Owners vote with the square root of their eligible plots. A Plant Manager votes for a plot handed to them.

    COMMANDER HOUSE

Active Commanders vote, weighted by Operational Performance Rating and reputation.

  4. 04

    04 // TALLY

A major change passes only with a majority in both Houses.

    05 // RESULT

Results are public, and a passed proposal can change only what the DACI decides.

PROPOSEDSTARTING VALUES // MAY CHANGE BEFORE VOTING OPENS

QUORUM
10% of eligible Land House votes.
VOTING PERIOD
7 days from the block a proposal opens.
MAJOR CHANGES
Season rules, the season's Field Works and Asteroid Field access charters.
ROUTINE PROPOSALS
Landmark upkeep, station lanes, and balancing within ranges a major vote has set.
TABLING
Any Commander with a seat can table a proposal with 25 co-signers. Each Tether plot owner tables one lane proposal a season without them.
COMMANDER HOUSE WEIGHT
Grows with the square root of Standing, like the Land House, and Operational Performance Rating can add up to 25% more.
ONE PERSON, ONE SEAT
Plots count in the Land House only once their Commander has passed the identity check prize winners already take, so a second account adds no votes.

Try the rules on a made-up proposal. Choose how many plots you hold, vote, and see what your vote does to the Land House tally and the result.

05 // BUILT AGAINST VOTE BUYING

Seven moves that don't work

The ways people usually try to buy a vote, and the rule that stops each one.

LOCK 01

THE MOVE

Buy plots the week before a vote

30-DAY HOLD

A plot counts only once it has been held for 30 days, to stop last-minute vote buying.

LOCK 02

THE MOVE

Buy or borrow plots once a vote is open

SNAPSHOT

Voting power is fixed at the block a proposal opens. Buying or borrowing plots mid-vote adds nothing.

LOCK 03

THE MOVE

Buy one giant holding

SQUARE ROOT

Votes are the square root of eligible plots, so 2,000 plots carry 44.72 votes, not 2,000.

LOCK 04

THE MOVE

Buy the rarest plots for a bigger vote

TIER-BLIND

Tier does not multiply votes: a Core or Mythic plot counts the same as a Common one.

LOCK 05

THE MOVE

Push a major change through with land alone

DUAL MAJORITY

Major changes must also pass the Commander House, where weight comes from play, not capital.

LOCK 06

THE MOVE

Vote the treasury or prize money your way

FIXED SCOPE

The treasury, studio revenue, prize funding and currency issuance are outside the DACI's scope.

PROPOSEDLOCK 07

THE MOVE

Split plots across many accounts

ONE PERSON, ONE SEAT

Plots count in the Land House only once their Commander has passed the identity check prize winners already take, so a second account adds no votes.

06 // WHAT THE DACI DECIDES

How Aetheris plays, not where the money goes

The Nexus DACI sets the rules of the Aetheris industrial game. It has no say over the treasury, prize funding or company revenue.

OUTSIDE DACI SCOPE

  • Treasury and studio revenue
  • Prize pool funding and allocation
  • Currency issuance or buybacks

Holding land may let you vote in the Nexus DACI on gameplay matters. Governance does not extend to the treasury, prize funding or company revenue.
