WORLDS & LORE
- Aetheris
- Origin world of the Cybernetic Concord, shattered when the Planetary Stabilization Network collapsed. Its 100,000 plots are the land of the Aetheris industrial web game.
- AETHERIS LANDS Aetheris plotsThe Asteroid Field
- Sanctaris
- The world where the Arks crashed, and the frontline of the war. A persistent 4X hex world played in the game client, where alliances fight for Prime Mines. No NFT needed.
- SANCTARIS AlliancePrime Mines
- Cybernetic Concord
- Machine intelligence born in the ruins of Aetheris. Its patrols roam Sanctaris as a hostile PvE threat, and their wreckage yields parts for manufacturing equipment.
- Forgeite
- The Arks
- Colossal generation ships that carried the remnants of human civilization from Earth, and crashed on Sanctaris. Their wreckage became the first cities.
- Crashed ArksCommanders
- Planetary Stabilization Network
- The automated system that once held Aetheris together. Its collapse blew pieces of the crust into orbit and tore the planet apart.
- The Asteroid Field
- The Asteroid Field
- Pieces of Aetheris's crust, blown into orbit when the PSN collapsed. The field completely surrounds the planet: chaotic, and rich in resources. Aetheris mines its ore there.
- QUANTUM SCANNER Core Fragments
- Commanders
- The survivors of the Ark crashes, and the players. They built the cities of Sanctaris and lead its alliances.
- Commander ID
SANCTARIS
- Alliance
- A team of players on Sanctaris with its own treasury and ranks. There are no developer-made factions: alliances set every border and every war.
- SANCTARIS SyndicatesAlliance Forge
- Server shards
- The game servers Sanctaris runs on. Every Commander is aligned to one shard; when a shard fills, the next two open for new Commanders. Sanctaris is cross-server, so Commanders from different shards also meet; which battles and events cross between shards is in design.
- SANCTARIS Alliance
- Zone levels
- Sanctaris has seven, from L1, the Outer Hives at the edge, to L7, the Apex Core at the centre. Each level inward is richer and more dangerous, and the four quadrants are built identically.
- SANCTARIS Apex CoreGovernor PlateausAlliance base slots
- Apex Core
- The centre of Sanctaris (zone level L7) and the seat of the High Commander. Like every plateau, it is a Stillfield, where marches slow down.
- High CommanderStillfieldsZone levels
- Governor Plateaus
- One in the middle of each Sanctaris quadrant, in the Mid-Territory (L3–L4), each holding a district governor building. An alliance that wins one places an outpost over the building and elects a District Governor. Every plateau is a Stillfield, where marches slow down.
- District GovernorsStillfieldsZone levels
- District Governors
- Four per shard, one per quadrant. An alliance that wins a Governor Plateau's governor building and places an outpost over it elects a District Governor, who gains attack, defence, HP and fleet size while in office and has Auron gifts to give to the alliance. Only a District Governor can become High Commander.
- SANCTARIS Governor PlateausHigh Commander
- High Commander
- The leader of a shard, like a president: a District Governor whose alliance wins the battle for the High Commander building on the Apex Core. The High Commander chooses a cabinet and issues Auron gifts to the whole shard.
- SANCTARIS District GovernorsApex Core
- Stillfields
- The five plateaus of Sanctaris, the Apex Core and the four Governor Plateaus, where march speed is reduced, so every approach to a seat of power is slow and takes planning.
- Governor PlateausApex Core
- Alliance base slots
- Marked places on the Sanctaris map where an alliance base can stand. Most are in the Outer Hives, where alliances start.
- AllianceZone levels
- Buff Buildings
- 50 in every quadrant of Sanctaris. The alliance that holds one gains its buff for as long as it keeps control.
- SANCTARIS Alliance
- Prime Mines
- Permanent sites holding Tin, Lithium, Titanium or Tungsten. Claimed by alliances, with room for up to 7 gatherers depending on location.
- SANCTARIS Pop-Up MinesAlliance Forge
- Forgeite
- A special material used only to forge and upgrade equipment. Win it by beating the Cybernetic Concord level by level at the Forgeite Mines along the Sanctaris fault lines.
- SANCTARIS Cybernetic Concord
- Auron
- The universal resource, gathered across the map of Sanctaris. It is an in-game currency with no cash value.
- Aetheris plots
- Alliance Forge
- Your alliance's own refinery on Sanctaris, where the ore it wins in battle is refined.
- Refineries
- Crashed Arks
- The wrecks of the Arks that brought humanity to Sanctaris, 50 in every quadrant. Explore them every day: on your own to rescue survivors, who each give your city a small bonus, and with your alliance to recover technology tickets for alliance technology.
- SANCTARIS The Arks
- Orbital Lift
- In design: alliances launch surplus Sanctaris ore from a Launch Rail up the transfer orbit to the Field Stations, escorting convoys past Concord interceptors and rival alliances. Nothing comes back down, and every reward for lifting stays in the game.
- SANCTARIS Field WorksField Stations
- Battle units
- Every Commander draws from the same 15 battle units, in short, medium and long range. Battles resolve automatically, so victory is won in preparation by building the right counter.
- HOW IT PLAYS Military Rank
- Military Rank
- Your combat ladder of 15 ranks, earned with Merit. Each rank adds attack, defence and HP, and higher ranks command a larger fleet. Rank is permanent.
- SANCTARIS MeritCommander Reputation
- Merit
- Earned only in ranked battles you take part in and qualify for. Attacking far weaker players earns nothing, and no purchase, pack or perk can add Merit.
- Military Rank
- Commander Badges
- Badges that record what a Commander has done. Vanguard, Pathfinder, Convoy Master and Steward follow the four Reputation tracks and upgrade from grade I (Steel) to V (Forged) as the record grows; Genesis Enlistee and Secured mark first steps. Earned only: they can never be bought and give no stat or prize advantage.
- SANCTARIS Commander ReputationMilitary Rank
- Commander Reputation
- Your record across four tracks: warfare, exploration, logistics and service. Earned only by playing, it can never be bought, sold or traded, and never expires. Together the tracks make your overall Standing.
- MY COMMAND Military RankCommander Badges
AETHERIS
- Aetheris plots
- The 100,000 plots on the Aetheris globe, owned as NFTs called Aetheris Deeds. Every plot is a licence to play the Aetheris industrial game, not an investment, and never earns Auron, USDC or a share of revenue.
- AETHERIS LANDS Plot tiersOre affinity
- Aetheris Deeds
- The NFTs that hold Aetheris plots: owning a Deed means owning its plot. Deeds trade player to player on the Outpost Marketplace after the Genesis Sale, and each plot's inventory moves with it.
- MARKETPLACE Aetheris plotsOutpost Marketplace
- Plant Managers
- Players an owner assigns a plot to for a season (ERC-4907). They play it but can never sell or transfer it, no rent is paid in real money, and access returns to the owner automatically.
- Plot rentalsLand House
- Plot tiers
- Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythic, plus the single Core plot. Plot numbers spiral out from the Core at the north pole, so each tier forms a ring around it. The Genesis Sale offers Common to Epic at one fixed price per tier, and Legendary and Mythic follow in a later release.
- Genesis Sale
- Ore affinity
- The ore a plot favours: Tin, Lithium, Titanium or Tungsten. Every plot shows its affinity on the globe before you choose it. Only the Core favours all four.
- Aetheris plots
- Refining Bonus
- A plot's tier bonus to refining speed: Common +1%, Uncommon +2%, Rare +3%, Epic +4%, Legendary +5%, Mythic +6% and the Core +10%. It falls ring by ring away from the Core and applies only in the Aetheris web game.
- Plot tiersRefineries
- Refineries
- Aetheris plots run a web-side refining network alongside the in-game Alliance Forges, turning ore into composites such as Hardened Tungsten and Lithium Plasma. Upgraded refineries, docks and warehouses handle more.
- Composites
- Composites
- Refined materials such as Hardened Tungsten and Lithium Plasma. Composites refined count towards your Operational Performance Rating.
- Operational Performance Rating
- Refining queue
- Every refinery can queue up to 8 hours of work, the same for every plot, so nobody has to stay online. Nothing for sale makes it longer.
- RefineriesOperational Performance Rating
- Extractors
- Rigs your plot runs out in the Asteroid Field, with 49 levels to upgrade. Their ore rides shuttles down the shipping lanes to your refinery. Extractor uptime counts towards your Operational Performance Rating.
- Field StationsOperational Performance Rating
- Field Stations
- Five docks at the top of the Concord tethers, up in the Asteroid Field: Core, Vesper, Halcyon, Anvil and Meridian Station. They gather the ore mined in the field, and every plot is served by its nearest station.
- Shipping lanesTether plots
- Field Works
- In design: shared defences and infrastructure for the war on the Concord, built from ore lifted from Sanctaris and chosen each season by the Nexus DACI. A finished work changes the next season's field the same way for every plot. Lifted ore never becomes plot ore or composites and never counts towards prizes.
- AETHERIS LANDS Orbital LiftField StationsNexus DACI
- State Refinery
- In design: a refinery at every Field Station, open to every Commander with no land and no wallet. Commanders without land refine the field ore they earn on hauling and escort contracts there, at the base rate with no Refining Bonus, and build their own craft with the composites. It never involves USDC or the prize leagues.
- AETHERIS LANDS Field StationsShipping lanesSyndicates
- Shipping lanes
- Shuttle routes through the Asteroid Field, between the Field Stations and down to the plots. Raiders can ambush any haul, so lane choice, escorts and convoys decide what arrives.
- Field StationsSyndicates
- Tether plots
- The five plots at the foot of the Concord tethers, the Core included. Each owner keeps the station above: they name it, fly their banner there and can table one Land House proposal a season about its lanes. No output bonus. Sold by open auction.
- Field StationsLand House
- Wound Rim plots
- Plots on the rims of the six blast wounds, where the core still shows through. Each gets one extra Core Fragment socket.
- Core Fragments
- Plot wallet
- Every plot gets its own wallet holding ore, composites, extractors and shuttles. Sell the plot and its whole inventory moves with it in one transaction, protected by asset-commitment locks against front-running.
- Outpost Marketplace
- Genesis Sale
- The first sale of Aetheris land: 20,000 to 25,000 Common to Epic plots at one fixed price per tier, with per-wallet caps. You choose the exact plot on the globe, so nothing is random.
- AETHERIS LANDS WhitelistGenesis Forgers
- Genesis Forgers
- 1,000 Genesis Forgers, each a Specialist Commander in the Aetheris industrial game. A Forger unlocks a new way to play, not bigger numbers: its ability only helps if you use it well.
- GENESIS FORGERS Genesis Sale
- Plot rentals
- Let another Commander play your plot while you keep ownership, through ERC-4907 rentals. Rented plots count towards the renter's league.
- Leagues
QUANTUM SCANNER
- Quantum Scanner
- Humanity's long-range habitability sensor. On this site you use it to scan the Asteroid Field for Core Fragments.
- QUANTUM SCANNER Core Fragments
- Core Fragments
- Shards of Aetheris's core hidden in the Asteroid Field: 10,000 among 50,000 asteroids, from Common to Mythic. They boost refinement and extraction in the Aetheris web game.
- QUANTUM SCANNER Claim feeThe Core Fragment
- The Core Fragment
- The single rarest fragment in the field. It is never claimed for a fee: it goes to auction.
- Core Fragments
- Claim fee
- A fixed USDC fee, set by rarity, to claim a fragment you have found. You see its rarity before you choose to claim it.
- QUANTUM SCANNER USDC
PRIZES & TEAMS
- Operational Performance Rating
- Seasonal esports-style prizes are awarded on Operational Performance Rating. It measures composites refined, logistics delivered without being ambushed, and extractor uptime. It rewards skill, never passive holding.
- PRIZE POOL RULES LeaguesComposites
- Field Ops
- A free game in the Asteroid Field that you can play now, on this website, with Discord sign-in. Raise an outpost, claim rock and deploy rigs, raid the rigs of rival Commanders and fly what your holds dig home on a Lane Run: only delivered ore counts on the season board. A season runs a calendar month. Your outpost and kit are yours for good; each new season the field starts fresh. Nothing is luck: the field is the same for everyone.
- FIELD OPS Lane RunThe Asteroid FieldSyndicates
- Lane Run
- How Field Ops deliveries are flown: your holds go onto a convoy, and you fly it past the raiders with one tap on a fresh route each time. How well you fly decides how much arrives, and convoy refits make every run worth more. No dice and no prizes.
- FIELD OPS Shipping lanesOperational Performance Rating
- Leagues
- Two ladders. Solo Commanders by the plots they hold or rent: Independent Operator (1–3), Enterprise League (4–9) and Magnate League (10+). Syndicates by the Commanders on their roster: Venture League (3–5), Consortium League (6–12) and Conglomerate League (13–25). Each league is a prize pool of its own, sized by how many Commanders play in it. Your league is fixed at the season snapshot.
- PRIZE POOL RULES Magnate LeagueSyndicatesSeason
- Magnate League
- The league for solo Commanders with 10 or more plots, so a large holding run alone is ranked against other solo holdings, never against full Syndicates. Syndicates play in leagues by team size instead: Venture (3–5 Commanders), Consortium (6–12) and Conglomerate (13–25).
- SYNDICATES LeaguesSyndicates
- Season
- A competitive period of the web game with its own prize pool. Leagues and Syndicate prize splits lock at the season snapshot.
- Leagues
- Syndicates
- A team of 3 to 25 Commanders, from any Alliances, who share convoys, intel, defense and plots for a season and compete together in the league for their team size. Prizes are paid to each member's own wallet, including members who own no land.
- SYNDICATES Duty rolesAlliance
- Duty roles
- Each member picks Hauler, Escort, Refiner or Scout. It shows on the roster and does not limit what they can do.
- Syndicates
ACCOUNT & GOVERNANCE
- Commander ID
- Your account. Every sign-in method you bind opens the same Commander ID. Bind at least two so losing one never locks you out.
- Whitelist
- Whitelist
- The Commander whitelist for the Genesis Sale. Forger holders buy first, then the whitelist, then the public.
- Genesis Sale
- Nexus DACI
- Short for the Nexus Digital Asset Command Interface. Aetheris owners govern the planet through the Nexus DACI. Voting power grows with land held, but at a diminishing rate. Active Commanders hold an equal second chamber, so the people who play the game share control with the people who own the land.
- NEXUS DACI Land HouseCommander House
- Land House
- The landowners' chamber of the Nexus DACI. Votes grow with the square root of plots held, and a plot counts only after 30 days.
- Nexus DACISquare-root votingVoting snapshot
- Commander House
- The players' chamber of the Nexus DACI, where active Commanders hold an equal voice.
- Nexus DACIDual majority
- Square-root voting
- How the Land House counts votes: a wallet's votes are the square root of its eligible plots. One plot is one vote, nine plots are three, a hundred are ten, so every plot counts but each adds less than the last. Tier does not multiply votes.
- NEXUS DACI Land House
- Dual majority
- The Nexus DACI rule for major changes: they must pass both the Land House and the Commander House. Routine proposals need the Land House plus quorum.
- NEXUS DACI Land HouseCommander House
- Voting snapshot
- Voting power is fixed at the block a proposal opens, so buying or borrowing plots mid-vote adds nothing. A plot counts only once it has been held for 30 days.
- Land House
- Outpost Marketplace
- The player-to-player exchange. It opens in stages as each asset goes live: Aetheris Deeds after the Genesis Sale, and Core Fragments with scanner claims.
- MARKETPLACE Plot walletQuartermaster
- Cargo Hold
- Your Commander's hold on the site: the Core Fragments you claim with the Quantum Scanner and the items you own are kept here. Open it from My Command.
- CARGO HOLD Core FragmentsQuartermaster
- Quartermaster
- In an army, the officer who holds the stores. Here the Quartermaster holds the stores for the main game: paint schemes for your craft, colours for your plot and finishes for your Commander card. All of it is cosmetic: nothing changes play or a prize score. The official merchandise is the Quartermaster's too. The stores are not on sale yet. Field Ops sells its own supplies and Courier drone paint inside the game, at its Supply Store.
- THE QUARTERMASTER RequisitionOrders of dressCargo HoldOutpost Marketplace
- Requisition
- Drawing an item from the Quartermaster's stores at its fixed, published price. You pay by card on Stripe's checkout page, and the item is then issued to your Cargo Hold.
- QuartermasterCargo Hold
- Plot colours
- A flag flown over an Aetheris plot you own. Colours is the military word for a unit's flag. Cosmetic only: it changes how a plot looks, never what it produces. In design.
- Aetheris plotsQuartermaster
- Orders of dress
- The grade on a cosmetic item from the Quartermaster: Standard, Parade or Ceremonial, from plainest to showiest. It says how an item looks, never how strong it is. In design.
