01What these terms cover

These terms apply when you requisition an item from the Quartermaster's stores on this website, or from the Supply Store in Field Ops. The seller is Alliance Forge. They add to the Terms of Service, which also apply.

The Quantum Scanner licence and scan packs shown in the stores are sold under the Quantum Scanner Terms. Official merchandise is sold separately, under the terms shown at its own checkout.

02What you are buying

Items are of two kinds. Cosmetic items (a paint scheme, plot colours, a refinery finish, a Commander card frame or backdrop, a Courier drone paint scheme, or the Campaign Pass Parade track) change how something looks in Alliance Forge and nothing else. Field Ops supplies (fuel, time-skips, packs, the supply pass, the Fleet Commission, the Season Pass Elite track, Tier Skips, Streak Restorers and Syndicate Supply Envelopes) are used up in Field Ops, the web game, which pays no prizes, and Field Ops upgrades (such as a second build queue or the Lifetime Commission) stay with your Field Ops command: each gives exactly what its listing says, in Field Ops only. No item changes a prize score, a plot's output, Merit or rank, or anything in Sanctaris.

An item is a personal licence to use that content in Alliance Forge for as long as we offer the service. It is bound to your Commander ID or, for an item bought in Field Ops, to the Discord account you play Field Ops with. It is not an NFT, has no cash value, and cannot be traded, sold, transferred or redeemed for money. A supply is spent when you use it in Field Ops. The supply pass and the Fleet Commission give their daily supplies on each day you open Field Ops during their 30 days, and the Lifetime Commission on each day you open it; a day you do not open Field Ops is not made up later. The Season Pass Elite track lasts until the end of the season it was bought in (Field Ops seasons are calendar months) and pays the tiers you reach in that season. A Syndicate Supply Envelope sends part of what it holds to the mates in your Syndicate when it arrives, with your Field Ops name. An upgrade stays yours even if your Field Ops record is deleted after 90 days without play: it comes back when you next play.

Forge Credits are bought in bundles at the Supply Store and spent there on Field Ops items, at 100 credits for each $1 of an item's card price. They have no cash value, can't be traded, transferred or sold, and aren't refunded once spent. Unspent credits don't expire while we offer Field Ops, and stay yours even if your Field Ops record is deleted after 90 days without play.

VIP levels rise with what you spend by card in Field Ops (each $1 is 100 VIP points; spending Forge Credits doesn't count again) and never drop. Each level's perks are listed in Field Ops: they save time or show status, and never add strength in a raid or a war. We may add perks; a level's perks aren't taken away while Field Ops runs.

Some items need something to show on or to be used in: an Aetheris plot you own, a Courier drone (earned in Field Ops and never sold), or a Field Ops command linked to your Discord account. Each item says what it needs before you pay.

There are no mystery boxes. Each item lists exactly what you get, at one fixed price shown before you pay. Auron is spent in the stores and is never sold.

03Price and payment

Prices are in US dollars. [Whether prices include VAT or sales tax, and how tax is shown at checkout, to be confirmed with our adviser.] Your card issuer may add its own currency or foreign transaction charges.

You pay by card through Stripe, our payment processor, on Stripe's checkout page. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe handles your payment details under its own terms and privacy policy.

Your order is accepted only once our servers have confirmed your payment with Stripe. If we cannot confirm it, nothing is issued and you are not charged; if you are charged and no item appears, contact us and we will issue it or refund you.

You must be 18 or over, as the Terms of Service require, and authorised to use the card you pay with.

04Delivery

Items are digital. An item bought at the Quartermaster is issued to your Cargo Hold as soon as your payment is confirmed, usually within moments. An item bought in Field Ops (a supply or Courier drone paint) is issued at the same moment to the Field Ops command of the Discord account you bought it with, and is added the next time you open Field Ops. Nothing is posted to you.

To show a Courier drone paint scheme in Field Ops, we check the Cargo Hold of the Commander ID linked to your Discord account each time Field Ops opens. The Privacy Policy explains what we hold.

05Your right to cancel

If you are a consumer in the UK or the European Union, the law normally gives you 14 days to cancel an online purchase. An item here is digital content that is issued immediately, so at checkout we ask you to agree that we supply it straight away and to acknowledge that you lose that right to cancel once it has been issued. If we have not yet issued your item, you can cancel and we will refund you in full.

06Faults and refunds

Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights. If an item is faulty, is not as described, or cannot be issued to you, we will put it right or replace it, or refund you if we cannot.

Otherwise purchases are final. [Whether we also offer a goodwill refund for a short period after purchase, to be decided.] To ask about an order, write to allianceforge22@gmail.com with your Commander ID (for a purchase in Field Ops, your Discord username) and the date of the payment. Refunds go back to the card you paid with.

If a payment is reversed, charged back or found to be fraudulent, we may remove the item it paid for, or the supplies it added, and stop that account from buying.

07Changes to items and to the stores

We may adjust how an item looks to fix an error or to keep the game consistent, without changing what kind of item it is. Prices can change for future purchases, never for one you have already made. Field Ops is a game we keep balancing, and its rules can change; a supply you have bought still gives what its listing said when you bought it.

If we permanently close the stores, or the feature an item shows on, we will give at least [60] days' notice on this site. Items have no cash value, so no refund is due when a service ends, except where the law gives you one.

Questions and complaints: allianceforge22@gmail.com. We aim to reply within [5] working days. The governing law and the courts that hear disputes are those set out in the Terms of Service, and they do not take away rights the law of your own country gives you as a consumer.
