01Who we are

Alliance Forge is the controller of personal data processed through this site and the game. Contact: allianceforge22@gmail.com.

02What we collect

Wallet addresses you connect or bind, and public on-chain activity related to Alliance Forge contracts.

Account data from providers you sign in with (Discord, X, Google, Apple), such as a user ID, display name and email where the provider shares it.

Details you submit, such as the email and Discord handle on the Commander whitelist form, and shipping details for merchandise orders (processed by our payment provider).

Game data such as inventory, progress, votes and Operational Performance Rating.

If you play Lane Run in Discord: your Discord user ID and that day's run (your choices, and when you started, finished or shared it), even without a Commander ID. Discord also sends your username and avatar; we don't store them. These runs are deleted after 90 days.

If you play Field Ops (allianceforge.online/field-ops): your Discord user ID and the display name Discord shares, your record in that season's field (your outpost, where your ship has been, what you hold, your resources, your Season Pass progress, your Syndicate and raid reports), and your Commander record: your outpost's upgrades, your ship's class and convoy refits, composites and chits, supplies you have bought and not yet used (reserve fuel, banked time-skips and when a supply pass or commission ends), your tier and delivery record (ore delivered over every season and your Lane Run bests), the cosmetic kit you hold, the country you choose, your recruit code and, if you joined on another Commander's recruit link, whose link it was and whether its bonus has been paid. When you buy fuel, the Commander who recruited you is sent a tenth of it as a bonus; they aren't told who bought it or what. Your Forge Credits balance is kept apart from your Field Ops record: it isn't deleted after 90 days without play, as it holds what you paid for, and is kept while Field Ops runs. To set your VIP level we keep the total you have spent in Field Ops, with your Forge Credits balance. Other players see your VIP badge beside your name unless you hide it. A season's records, and its final standings (names, countries and ore, no Discord IDs), are deleted 90 days after it ends; your Commander record is deleted 90 days after you last play. Your browser keeps your sign-in so you stay signed in.

If you buy from the Quartermaster or the Supply Store in Field Ops, Stripe processes your card payment. We receive the payment's reference, amount and result, never your full card number, and keep a record of the order with your Commander ID, or for a purchase in Field Ops, your Discord user ID. To show a Courier drone paint scheme, Field Ops checks the Cargo Hold of the Commander ID linked to your Discord account. A Field Ops supply is kept with the Discord user ID of the Field Ops command it was bought for until Field Ops adds it, then stays with the order record.

03Why we use it

To run your account and the game (contract).

To verify wallet ownership, prevent fraud, cheating and sybil attacks, and meet legal obligations such as sanctions and KYC checks for prize payouts (legal obligation and legitimate interests).

If one-person-one-seat voting is adopted: to check that each Commander voting in the Land House of the Nexus DACI is a separate real person, using the same identity check as prize payouts (legitimate interests: keeping governance fair).

To send updates about the whitelist and Genesis Sale if you asked for them (consent, which you can withdraw).

When you join the whitelist, a shortened form of your Commander ID (for example CMD-7K3···) appears in the public activity ticker on the site. Your email, handles and wallet are never shown.

04Public information

Blockchain transactions are public and permanent. Your Commander name, wallet address and plot ownership may appear in the public sales ticker, on the Aetheris globe and in governance results.

If you press Post my result in Lane Run in Discord, your result is posted in that channel with a mention that shows your Discord name. Leaderboards show only Commanders who linked an account, by Commander name or a shortened Commander ID, never a Discord name or ID.

In Field Ops your display name is shown to other players on the map, the season board and Syndicate lists, with your outpost's grid reference, your Commander tier and your outpost's tier. If you send a Syndicate Supply Envelope, your Syndicate mates see your display name with it. A new outpost, a raid or a large camp cleared may be posted in the Alliance Forge Discord with a mention of the Commanders involved. At a season's end the top Commanders and the top Syndicate are named there and given Discord roles.

If you choose a country in Field Ops, its flag and name are shown beside your display name to other players, on the season and nation standings, and next to your mention in posts in the Alliance Forge Discord.

05Who we share it with

Service providers acting for us: Google Firebase (hosting, authentication, database), our merchandise store provider (once the store opens), Stripe (card payments; for a purchase in Field Ops, it also receives your Discord user ID), WalletConnect/Reown (wallet connection), Discord (when you play Lane Run there or sign in to Field Ops with it), and identity verification providers for prize payouts and, if adopted, Land House voting. We do not sell personal data.

06International transfers and retention

Some providers process data outside your country, under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

07Your rights

Depending on where you live you may access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. Contact allianceforge22@gmail.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO). We cannot delete data recorded on a public blockchain.

08Cookies and local storage

We use storage that is necessary for sign-in and wallet connection. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics (through Firebase) to measure which pages are visited; it is off until you click Accept on the analytics banner. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the site footer; declining removes the analytics cookies.
